Alright, so I’m alive still. It’s been a while since I’ve been on here, but safe to say I’m not dead. Stuff happened, stuff’s gotten solved, new stuff has occurred, life goes on. I won’t get into too many details other than I’m now getting back on track with things, including writing.
Since it’s been forever, Altherys has undergone many changes lately, enough that pretty much all of the lore I’ve posted on this blog is getting retconned and replaced with new, shiny lore. On the downside, some pretty good lore and other written work I’ve posted here is getting deleted (don’t worry, I always have backups of my old work so it’s not permanently gone). On the upside I’m going to be posting more again, and I’m going to be doing other things as well to help add to this blog…dictionary…wiki…thing, whatever it is at this point.
What other things, you ask? How’s artwork sound? Yup, I’m going to be drawing and posting some Altherys-related artwork here. This is going to mostly revolve around creatures and maybe landscapes, but I’ll try to feature maps, races, weapons, symbols, and various other things as well as I get around to doing it. But that’s far from the only thing, oh no-no! I’m also going to be doing character pieces for characters I’ve created for the setting. You guys are finally going to be seeing some fiction on here that isn’t just encyclopedia-style lore entries. Huzzah!
Well, that’s it for now, not much else to talk about. The retcon’s going to take a while as I have family coming over, but as soon as stuff’s cleaned up I’m going to be regularly posting every week. See you soon!
